Project Description

Under 22 separate contracts, NOVI Energy LLC (NOVI) was selected as the Prime Contractor by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to complete feasibility studies for implementing Solar Energy Generation Systems (SEGS) at VA sites in the Midwest and Western regions of the United States. NOVI’s analysis focused on assessing several potential sites for locating the solar panels selected based on availability of space, illumination indices and required site modifications.The feasibility of a SEGS that would support the facilities in complying with the energy goals mandated under the EPAct 2005, EO 13423, and Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 was conducted.
