NOVI was been retained as advisor to the Government of Nepal for providing financial and technical due diligence services to Nepal’s largest IPP hydro power project which is intend for the domestic market and will alleviate power shortages. NOVI presented options and analysis for Nepalese government officials to formulate their negotiating position in discussions with developers. Scope of services also included a time-critical sensitivity analysis of hard currency project financing options and a demonstration of the fiscal impact of various financing options for the Government of Nepal, the Ministry of Energy, and the Nepalese Electricity Authority (NEA).
