Consulting

Make Informed Energy Decisions

NOVI helps clients understand complex energy opportunities before determining the right path forward. Our consulting services combine engineering expertise, financial insight and real-world project experience to evaluate performance, cost, feasibility, and risk.

Our vast experience enables us to create clean, sustainable solutions for our clients. We offer numerous services to assist in both conventional and alternative energy development.

Feasibility Studies

Before moving forward with an energy project, it’s important to understand what’s possible—and what makes sense. Our feasibility studies combine close client collaboration, data gathering, technical and financial analysis, and cost estimating to evaluate the viability of developing, constructing, and operating a power generation facility.

Energy Audits and Facility Assessments

Understanding how a facility uses energy is the first step toward improving performance. Our team evaluates energy-intensive processes, equipment, facility operations, infrastructure, and energy costs to identify practical opportunities for greater efficiency. We consider potential changes to components, systems, and operations with a focus on reducing energy use and controlling long-term costs.

Technology Assessments

Energy technology continues to evolve, but the newest solution isn’t always the right solution. We assess both proven and emerging energy technologies to help clients understand their options and make informed decisions. Our analysis considers technology utilization, optimization, performance, and marketplace conditions to identify solutions that support each client’s operational and business objectives.

Tariff Analysis

Utility rates and tariff structures can have a significant impact on long-term energy costs. We analyze available rate structures and utility tariffs to help clients identify the options best suited to their facilities, operations and energy-use patterns—with the goal of reducing costs and improving overall energy performance.

Emergency Response and Power Generation

When reliable power is urgently needed, experience matters. NOVI Energy has a proven track record of rapidly deploying large-scale portable power generation equipment in demanding situations. Our team has provided emergency power following natural disasters, supported planned outages, and implemented solutions for demand-side management.

Fuel Study

A reliable energy project begins with a clear understanding of its fuel supply. Our team evaluates fuel availability, quality, and cost to help clients understand both immediate requirements and long-term considerations. Our experience spans a variety of fuel sources, including renewable and organic waste, woody biomass, and conventional natural gas.

Fuel Procurement

Securing a reliable, economically sound fuel supply is critical to long-term project performance. Our team brings experience in fuel supply contracting across a broad range of sources, from renewable organic waste and woody biomass to conventional fuels such as natural gas and liquid fuels.

Bid Services

We help clients identify energy-saving opportunities by evaluating policy, strategy, and industry best practices. Our experience allows us to bring a disciplined, informed perspective to the bidding process and help clients pursue solutions that align with their energy, operational, and financial goals.

Energy Management Services

We help clients develop cleaner, more sustainable approaches to managing energy while balancing performance, economics, and long-term needs. Our solutions are designed not only to serve our clients, but also to consider the communities and environments in which they operate—creating lasting value for everyone involved.

Built on Experience. Developed With Purpose.

The right energy solution starts with understanding the challenge. NOVI brings together engineering expertise, development experience, and broad technology knowledge to create solutions that serve our partners and the communities behind every project.
